Profiles of Westchester residents, art technique and criticism articles, fiction (The Ice Cream Shop Detective) and more

Artist/writer Ronnie Levine has written for print publications and news websites. She began with articles about art technique and opinion pieces about the state of contemporary art, and went on to write about art shows in Tarrytown. She then broadened her focus to include coverage of some local news events not related to the arts. With that experience she then turned her focus to writing a mystery novel, set in Tarrytown, in which an artist helps a charismatic cop investigate art forgery--and murder. If you've ever wondered whether forgeries are really different in essence from acknowledged masterpieces, read her take on it. Check out the front and back covers below, and an excerpt from the beginning of the book at www.theicecreamshopdetective.com.
